Basket Case Cinema is responsible for a handful of short films, documentaries, and commissioned works. Recent clients include UBC's SOGI education program and the Reelout Queer Film Festival based in Kingston, Ontario.

The brains behind the Basket Case Cinema operation is William Jennings (pictured left), a PhD student at Queen's University. He obtained a BA with distinction in Art History from the University of Victoria, and an MA in Film and Media from Queen's U. Despite having a steady but unremarkable career as a freelance videographer and editor, William has primarily spent his adult life working in independent movie theatres and video stores. His films have been screened at festivals and conferences across Canada - such as the Victoria Short Film Festival, Besides the Screen, and FMSAC - as well as internationally.

William is a co-founder of the Cinema Society of Kingston.
